A rare sight. You have to be lucky to photograph such a quiet mountain lake. Lake Eikesdal is as smooth as glass at its southern end.
The interplay of clouds, wind and light created optimal photo conditions on this day. A few rays of sunshine provided very beautiful light spots on the water and on the rock walls, which bring a change to the picture.
The light, the clouds and the many small stones in the foreground prompted me to make a black and white picture of this shot.

16 Jan 2023was lucky that day. It was windless and there were no waves on the lake. The reflection was really nice there.
