Today I added a new picture to the “In the forest” category. Everyone knows the moss. I didn’t know how many different mosses there were. It wasn’t until researching my new picture that I got smarter.
The “bank haircap moss” covers large areas in the forest and still looks very inconspicuous. It is only when you get closer to this plant that you discover its beauty.

For this photo, I used the same camera settings as my images from Fern (July 31, 2022).
Due to the rather dark picture, the small leaves come out much more clearly. They look almost like little green stars. Even the forest floor is not visible due to the little light. A nice effect that gives the picture a certain tension…
