Backlit shots aren’t always easy, especially when bright sunlight shines directly into the lens. If a cloud then covers the sun a little, that can be very helpful.
If the clouds are then dramatically illuminated by the evening sun, a very interesting picture could emerge. Exactly this picture showed up when I was on the descent of a mountain.
Aperture f/16, exposure 1/500 sec, ISO 50, focal length 17 mm, tripod, polarizing filter
The photo shows a part of the Romsdalsfjord with the islands “Veøy” and “Sekken”. Behind the mountains in the background is the Atlantic Ocean.
I wish you a nice start into the next week!
