One of the few beautiful photo opportunities in the small town of Molde, the “Seilet”. “Seilet” is the Norwegian word for “sail”. So the structure looks like a sail.
The hotel is right on a fjord. The possibilities of photographing the building from different angles are therefore limited.
For me it was important to get the morning sun with fantastic light on the picture.
Aperture f/11, exposure 1/15, focal length 40 mm, ISO 100, ND4 filter, polarizing filter, tripod
The sunlight shined directly into the lens. I could have placed the camera a bit further to the left to hide the sun behind the structure. I did, but I didn’t like it.
Polarizing filters and a neutral density filter create a very mystical atmosphere, which I really like.
