At night on the beach

The dark season is almost over. The sun rises at 8:00 a.m. in the middle of the country. It will soon be too late to take night shots in complete darkness.

Taking photos at night on a beach on a small island is particularly challenging for the senses. The eyes sense every movement in the dark environment and the ears sometimes hear things that are very special. If you combine this with your imagination, you get a feeling of fear 😉

aperture 1.4, exposure 20, ISO 300, focal length 50 mm, tripod

This picture was taken on an island in the “Sunnmøre” region. There was no wind that day and the view was clear. It wasn’t quite dark though. The moonlight helped me to keep the ISO value in the “normal” range.

By the way, the small tower on the left side of the picture is a small chapel surrounded by many graves. This thought alone made photography even more exciting.
