Lots of snow, icy cold and not a cloud in the sky make photography almost a little dreary these days. There is hardly anything more boring than a completely blue sky. The time did not allow taking photos of special motifs this week, which can be very beautiful even in this weather.
So I placed the camera on the terrace and experimented with it a little.

The snow-capped mountain and the forest in front of it are a beautiful motif. But it was only after I removed the colors from this picture that it became much more interesting. The many different shades of gray allow significantly more details to appear in light and shadow.
