Concrete jungle

Finally Oslo feels like a real capital. What was missing, you ask? well, we needed a big library. Dont get me wrong we have a lot of nice libraries in Oslo, but the new Deichman is everything you can ask for when it comes to libraries. Now that school has startet and we still have strict rules when it come to covid-19, it is nice to have a place to go to for studying. At my school we only have the cafeteria left for work spaces and most places are often taken.

Three weeks ago was the first time i visited Oslo’s brand new Deichman library, and it was stunning! The architecture is just amazing and suits the city so well. Its very modern looking both the innside and outside (new pictures coming next week). I was lucky i brought with my analog camera, the Lomo LC-A so I could take some pictures from my new study place. In this picture I’m sitting on the 3rd floor looking up to the 4th and 5th floor. I’m still amazed over how cool the picture turned out, I was a bit sceptic since the light from the roof window was so sharp and bright. But it turned out pretty nice.
